It's genuinely useful and genuinely current, but it's a seasonal walk-up counter serving the cliff-visitor crowd, not a sit-down kitchen, and we're describing it as exactly that rather than dressing it up as a restaurant.

The Gay Head Store, at 33 Aquinnah Circle, is a separate, real, currently operating small grocery -- a Yelp listing updated June 2026 categorizes it under "Grocery," and a Martha's Vineyard Times piece, "The Gay Head Store: Service and community" (July 13, 2022), frames it as a genuine community fixture rather than a tourist novelty.
